Ohana Magazine – Every traveler has one must-have item. For me, it’s the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. This foldable phone has completely changed the way I travel. Its flexible design is not just about looks it’s about convenience. Whether I’m walking through Seoul’s busy streets or enjoying a beach sunset in Bali, the Z Flip 7 fits easily into my pocket and is ready for action. It bends, stands, and adapts to any situation. The hinge feels sturdy, while the body looks sleek and elegant. More importantly, it allows me to capture moments freely, without carrying heavy equipment. Traveling with the Z Flip 7 feels lighter, more spontaneous, and full of creativity. It’s more than a gadget it’s the travel partner that helps me live and relive every adventure effortlessly.

FYour Pocket-Sized Tripod

Taking travel photos can be tricky, especially when you’re traveling solo. But with the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s FlexCam feature, I no longer need to ask strangers for help. By folding the phone halfway, it instantly becomes a mini tripod. I can place it on a table, hang it on a fence, or set it on my bag. During my trip to Seoul, this feature saved me countless times. I took sharp, colorful photos at Gyeongbokgung Palace and captured natural moments around BTS’s old office. The 50 MP rear camera produced stunning results, while the cover screen let me preview shots perfectly. People often stopped to ask what device I was using it always caught attention. With FlexCam, I can shoot hands-free and from any angle. It’s a small innovation that brings big freedom for content creators and travelers alike.

A Smart Screen That Does More Than You Think

At first, I thought the small outer screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 was only for checking notifications. I was wrong. When traveling, it becomes incredibly useful. I can use Google Maps or Naver Maps, reply to messages, and control music all without opening the phone. This saves time, especially when my hands are full. During my stay in Seoul, I often used the small screen to check directions quickly or access Gemini AI for restaurant tips. When a beautiful moment appeared, I just double-tapped the power button, and the camera opened instantly. The cover screen makes the Z Flip 7 more than a phone it’s a quick-access tool that keeps up with your travels. Every tap feels intuitive, and every second saved adds more joy to the journey.

The Travel Guide That Knows You

Another reason I love the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is Gemini AI. It’s more than an assistant it’s like having a smart friend on your trip. In Seoul, Gemini helped me find the best route from Incheon Airport to Myeongdong in minutes. It recommended cozy cafés, popular BBQ spots, and even suggested photo poses when I wore a hanbok. What amazed me was how personal the answers felt. Gemini remembered my preferences and gave tailored advice. When I asked for hidden gems in the city, it suggested spots that weren’t even in travel guides. This feature made every day smoother and more exciting. Whether I needed directions or inspiration, Gemini was always ready to help. Traveling with it felt like having a local guide one that fits perfectly inside my palm.

Style and Power in Every Fold

Beyond its features, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 stands out for its design. It’s compact when folded, yet opens into a full-sized, powerful phone. I can easily slip it into a small bag or pocket without worrying about space. Its glossy finish and elegant hinge always attract attention wherever I go. Despite its small size, the battery lasts a full day even when I take photos, navigate, and edit videos. The large storage space means I never have to delete memories to make room for new ones. Every part of the Z Flip 7 feels intentional: light but strong, small but capable. It’s built for travelers who love beauty, performance, and practicality in one foldable frame.

Capturing Memories That Fit in Your Pocket

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is not just another smartphone it’s a creative tool that makes every trip special. From neon-lit city nights to peaceful mountain mornings, it’s always ready to capture the moment. Its flexible form invites you to experiment, its AI features make traveling easier, and its design keeps things stylish. With this phone, I’ve learned that innovation can simplify life without losing its magic. It makes travel not only more efficient but also more meaningful. Every click, every fold, every suggestion from Gemini reminds me that technology can connect us to experiences, not distract us from them. With the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in my hand, every journey becomes a story worth telling.

Ohana Magazine – A new survey shows that almost 80% of Southeast Asian tourists feel the United States is losing its charm as a travel destination. The main concerns include discrimination, gun violence, and high travel costs. These factors have made many travelers reconsider visiting the U.S., according to CNBC Travel.

Survey Details and Key Findings

The survey was conducted by Milieu Insight from May 22 to June 10, 2025. It involved 6,000 respondents from Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. About one in four participants said their desire to visit the U.S. had dropped in the past six months.

Interestingly, concerns over safety and social issues outweighed even the high financial cost. Respondents cited worries about gun violence, discrimination, and American politics, particularly under Donald Trump’s administration.

Gun Violence and Discrimination Drive Fear

Recent years have seen a rise in mass shootings and gun-related crimes across the U.S. This has caused many international travelers to view the country as unsafe. Furthermore, fear of racial profiling has made Asian tourists feel unwelcome. These concerns are now more influential than ever when choosing a travel destination.

Singapore: A Notable Drop in Interest

Travelers from Singapore showed a sharp decline in interest. Around 55% said they are less likely to visit the U.S. now compared to November last year. Only 7% said they’re more interested in visiting. These figures highlight a significant shift in travel attitudes within the country.

Vietnam and the Philippines: A Different Story

Despite the overall trend, Vietnamese and Filipino tourists showed increased interest. 57% of Vietnamese and 49% of Filipinos reported a growing desire to visit the U.S. This could be due to strong family ties and the continued influence of American pop culture in these countries.

Cultural and Family Connections Still Matter

According to Zilmiyah Kamble, a lecturer at James Cook University, family connections and cultural influence remain strong motivators. “Many still dream of visiting the U.S. because of family or the appeal of its culture,” she said. These factors can outweigh even the most serious safety concerns for some.
